Arzu Ozkal is inviting cross-generational, self-identified women cultural producers to participate in a photo shoot for her mural project at SDAI in April 2017.
San Diego Women in Resistance is visual statement against authority, patriarchy, and other social mechanisms that govern our rights and resources. The images of the participants will be abstracted into pixelated illustrations and composed into a mural.
Very important disclaimer: The photo shoot is not going to be nude, but the pixel style illustrations based on the photographs will be. The artist will not use the photographs for the final image, but participants will be asked to sign a photography release waiver.
If you are interested in participating in San Diego Women in Resistance mural project stop by SDAI between 1pm-4pm Saturday and Sunday January 28th & 29th. RSVP in advance is recommended at education@sandiego-art.org
