Marta currently teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at UCSD, online with eMindful, and has a Mindfulness-Based private coaching practice. She has taught Meditation and Mindfulness to private clients and small groups for over five years and is a long time meditator and yogi.
Marta discovered mindfulness several years ago and found it to be a life-changing practice that reduces stress and allows for greater well-being. This inspired her to shift careers from being a Registered Nurse to teaching and coaching others in mindfulness-based practices. She received her mindfulness training from UCSD Center for Mindfulness and continues to deepen her understanding with ongoing coursework in the field. She has also obtained Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach, Holistic Health Practitioner, Massage Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Reiki Practitioner due to her belief in the holistic health model.
