Eight organizations - Three group shows - One day of Art Making

The San Diego Art Institute (SDAI), a regional contemporary art center in Balboa Park, is pleased to announce the 2018 Youth Alliance Exhibitions: a showcase of student artwork created during the past school year with eight local non-profit organizations including Art Reach, Arts for Learning San Diego, The FRONT Gallery, Casa Familiar, Outside Lens, CoTA, SDAI, and Words Alive! The exhibition includes three distinct group shows and marks the culmination of outreach programs that involved dozens of teaching artists, community volunteers, and hundreds of K-12 students and teachers. By giving the students an opportunity to show their work in a public art space, SDAI hopes to raise awareness for local arts education. 

The Youth Alliance Exhibitions feature three group shows open M-F from 10 am-5 pm and 12 pm-5 pm  on weekends with a FREE family workshop on June 9 from 11 am-4 pm.
