AGGROBATICS is a video and live-score collaboration between Nick Lesley and Jon Dieringer, programmer for Spectacle Theater and founder of Screen Slate. Developing upon Nick's proposal, Jon edited footage from the movies Thrashin' and North Shore to create a flicker extravaganza of suspended plot points and maneuvers. Nick performs the sound track live, using percussion and electronic effects to elicit sounds loosely connected to the images of surfing, skating, teen rivalry and romance.
