Art Schools and Defining Success as an Artist: Two-Part Session

This two-part session kicks off with David A. Ross, Chair of the MFA in Art Practice at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. From 10am-12pm, Ross will discuss the logistics of a professional career in the arts as well as strategies for defining success in one’s own terms. Following a short break, we will reconvene at 1pm for a portfolio review and information session with representatives from 20 top art schools across the country. Determine what artistic training and success models resonate with you under the guidance of some of the most renowned regional and national art educators and administrators.
