They underwrite our Biennial Exhibition and get insider access to exclusive programming and groundbreaking art.  The Originators Circle, Contemporaries Circle, Patrons Circle, and Benefactors Circle each offer their own level of engagement and attendant benefits package.

All Circle Members receive Dual/Family Membership benefits (for two adults and children under 18 in the same household) including free general admission, invitation to opening night previews and receptions, discounted SDAI program tickets and fees.


Originators Circle/$500-$999

Contemporaries advance SDAI’s mission and are the exclusive underwriters of the Biennial Exhibition, promoting emerging artists from SoCal/Baja.

  • Complimentary tickets for two to the Biennial Bash

  • Guest passes (two per SDAI exhibition)

Patrons Circle/$2,500-$7,500

  • All benefits of Contemporaries Circle, plus:

  • Name/Logo recognition at two of our major exhibitions and one of our pop-up exhibits

  • Invitation to book a private tour with the Deputy Director

  • Two guest tickets to an annual special event or the Biennial Bash

  • Guest passes (four per SDAI exhibition)

Benefactors Circle/$10,000+

  • All benefits of Patrons Circle, plus:

  • Name/Logo recognition on exhibition wall didactics

  • Title recognition for support of a strategic initiative
