You don’t have to be an artist to look at the world in an artistic way!
Creative Braise is a hands-on workshop that gets you in touch with your inner artist. Designed for all ages and all levels of experience, participants are lead by San Diego based photographer Paul M. Bowers on a journey to discover new ways of looking at the world around them using only their mobile devices.
Elements of composition and light will be explored in a fun and supportive setting. During the class, Bowers will also discuss the works in SDAI’s ABOUT-FACE exhibition to explore elements of photography and representation as seen through the lens. In just 4 hours, participants can learn simple techniques for finding the visual elements of beauty all around them and incorporate this new way of seeing into their daily lives.
Biography: Paul M Bowers has been a San Diego-based commercial photographer for 35 years. Holding degrees in business and marketing, Bowers detoured into photography and fatherhood, Bowers now brings Creative Braise to groups and businesses that benefit from improving internal creative processes and mutually-supportive creative environments.
