Painting frees me, allows me to communicate in a way words cannot.  Mixed media particularly allows me to become immersed in the intuitive process.  Both my representational and non-representational work reflect what have been the strongest influences in my life—family, home, memories, political and social issues. My paintings represent where I’ve been and where I want to go.
