SDAI presents Multi-channel Electroacoustic Music Concert with Francisco Eme on Thursday, June 30th at 7pm at our Horton Plaza Project Space.
A multi-channel concert aims at immersing the audience in the sound world it creates. One of the techniques used for this effect is placing the audience in the middle and surrounding it with speakers. Francisco will be presenting a selection of electroacoustic music and electroacoustic music & video works, performing what’s called live spatialization (moving the sound around the room).
Francisco Eme works as a composer and sound artist. His work has developed in the areas of sound art and electroacoustic music, performing pure electronic, instrumental and mixed compositions, sound acts, improvisation duets, sound installations and video. He has also done works for dance, theater and other media. His works have been presented in México, the United States, Spain, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Canada, and Argentina.
The event will take place at SDAI’s Horton Plaza Project Space, 324 Horton Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101 at 7pm on Thursday, June 30th.
