Rachael Erwin's Sea Creatures

  • San Diego Art Institute 1439 El Prado San Diego, CA, 92101 United States

Rachael Erwin's 3D sculptures are reminiscent of underwater sea life rendered in recycled materials. Once manipulated and submerged in water, her sculptures can are reminiscent of jellyfish and are intended to provoke her audience to confront their own consumption of plastics and their relationship to the sea. She will be facilitating a workshop where participants will create their own sea creatures from recycled materials.
