Marketing Intern


Summary:

The Marketing Intern will work closely with SDAI’s Creative director to learn about the organization’s public relations, marketing strategy, audience building, and visitor services activities. The Marketing team is responsible for increasing attendance, optimizing visitor experience, market analysis, and maintain press relationships.

Creative Director

Opportunities:

Actively maintain online presence (website and social media)

Catalog press clippings

Engage museum visitors

Develop plans for alternative methods of audience engagement

Develop surveys and perform market analysis

 

Responsibilities:

Update website and social media

Manage outreach lists

Send weekly email newsletters

Write press releases and web content

Maintain contact with the press

Maintain reports on visitor attendance

 

Requirements:

Currently enrolled student or recent graduate

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software

Design application experience a plus

Independent worker: self-motivated and organized

Interest in learning about marketing and PR
