Support the San Diego Art Community
SDAI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art and community gallery. It is dedicated to :
- Actively promoting California artists, the arts, and arts education.
- Providing opportunities for artists and supporting activities, which contribute to their continued creativity and development.
- Fostering a sense of community by having public monthly exhibitions and special events that increase awareness, stimulate respectful yet authentic dialog, encourage exploration, and aid in the understanding of communities and the issues that impact and interest them.
Corporate, personal, and foundation support for us will go a long way toward presenting arts programs to the community. "How can I help?" you ask? Simple. You can make a tax-deductible donation, or just alert us to foundation or corporate grant opportunities of which you're aware.
General Public Membership
One Year Membership $50.00 per Single or Couple (at same address: including children under 18, living at home) includes: free admission to SDAI; newsletter subscription; advance notice: receptions, classes, special events; discounts - bus trips, lectures, classes, etc. Fees are non-refundable . SDAI, as per the bylaws, reserves the right to cancel, refuse or revoke membership at any time.
Participating Artist Membership
- Participating Artist Annual fee of $150 ( Renewal fee $125 )
- Senior Participating Artist Annual fee of $135 (Renewal fee $110)
- Associate Artist Annual fee of $75 ( Renewal fee $50)
- Full Time Student Annual fee of $50 (proof of enrollment of at least 12 units required)
Participating Artists can enter their artwork in any of the many ongoing shows throughout the year. All artwork chosen is through a jury process.
Friend of the Institute Membership
Become an Annual Contributor, Annual Benefactor, Annual Patron, Annual Collector, or Charter Founder. $150 minimum (tax deductible donation).
