Q: Is SDAI a membership organization?

A: No. In 2008 SDAI became a board-run organization per our bylaws. If you are interested in learning more about active membership organizations, please contact us for referrals.


Q: Is SDAI an accredited museum?

A: No. SDAI is a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting the work of local artists in the Southern California/Baja Norte region, with a focus on San Diego.


Q: Do you offer classes?

A: Yes, we offer educational programs for both youth and adults. Please check our website under “Learn” for frequent updates on current programs.


Q: Can I rent SDAI for my event? 

A: Yes, SDAI offers affordable rental rates for private events and weddings. Please contact Kevin Freligh for more information at gallerymanager@sandiego-art.org or by calling 619.236.0011.


Q: Can I sell my work in the gift shop?

Q: Can I show my work at SDAI?

A: SDAI shows the work of artists living in the SoCal/Baja region. We frequently post open-calls on the homepage of our website and under “Exhibitions & Events." Aside from these, we do not accept unsolicited artwork.
