Tijuana, BC, at the Tijuana Cultural Center
Free Admission from 11am – 8pm

The San Diego Art Institute’s Museum of the Living Artist is proud to announce our participation in the 2nd Annual Festival of Art “Entijuanarte 06” in the City of Tijuana on October 7th and 8th. A festival where local and international artists of great prestige and recognition will gather.
At the San Diego Art Institute we feel that art does not have borders and we recognize our sister city of Tijuana as an influential contributor to the artistic merits of our communities. The rich cultural diversity of the Baja region continues to grow and impact our society as a whole. Here we see the blending of our cultures creating an explosion of ideas, opportunities and new cultural experiences. It is our goal and responsibility to create and maintain the ongoing dialogue of artistic excellence in the region.
Please join us at this two-day event to meet the participating artists and have fun in a safe environment of artistic culture, in the facilities of the Tijuana Cultural Center. There will be live music, including jazz and opera singers, also featured is the “Compania de Danza de Baja California” (The Dance Academy of Baja California) performing a variety of programs. For the children, there will be storytellers and an art studio, which will provide kids with the opportunity to explore the world of art through hands-on lessons with artists.
